When the temperature begins to reach those incredibly uncomfortable numbers, it’s time to: hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. While water is one of the best options, if not the best, there are still other great alternatives to rehydrate and take on the day. Composed of 92% water, watermelon is one of the most hydrating fruits you could consume to combat the heat. Now let’s pair that with a little alcohol and make summer heat a little more bearable.
Watermelon Sangria:
- 4 c. cubed watermelon
- 1 750-ml. bottle moscato
- 1 c. rum
- Juice of 4 limes
- Zest of 2 limes
- 1 tbsp. sugar
