smithworks-shareDo you ever find yourself getting bored with your go-to booze? When you’ve grown tired of that mundane drink order, we’ll be here to walk you through what’s new and noteworthy this week:

Smithworks Vodka
It looks like Blake Shelton is moving away from sangria and on to something a little stronger. Just last week Blake Shelton and partner Pernod Richard released Smithworks, a truly American made vodka. Smithworks strives to be a “Spirit of the Heartland” – crafted in Fort Smith, Arkansas – the vodka is made with corn from Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma and distilled three times with water from Lake Fort Smith, Arkansas. The creators note that unlike your typical well vodka, this spirit embodies the hard work and simplicity of the American Heartland. For the reasonable price of $19.99 per bottle you can sip on Smithworks vodka with a toast to all of your fellow hardworking Americans.

Heavy Seas TropiCannon and Pounder Pills
Fresh out of Baltimore, Maryland, Heavy Seas Beer is gearing up to release two new additions to their line up. To add to the excitement that comes with warm weather, Heavy Seas will release TropiCannon, a citrus IPA which is said to “showcase explosive tropical fruit aromas and flavors.” With a 7.25% ABV we think the sound of palm trees blowing in the breeze will be easy to pick up on. Pounder Pills, the second new release from Heavy Seas, will be added to the shelves year round. This German-style Pilsner lager exhibits a “crisp malt backbone and a herbaceous hop profile,” it is said to be refreshing but still complex!

Wicket & Peg Bourbon
Dreamt up by a Kansas City Marketing Agency, Wicket & Peg is Two West’s very own branded bourbon. The craft spirit is distilled by Coulter & Payne Farm Distillery, and made with locally sourced, non-GMO ingredients from Missouri. The craft bourbon is said to be ideal for summer sipping with floral notes in addition to notes of vanilla, rich oak and citrus.

Malfy Italian Gin
Although this gin has established roots overseas in Moncalieri, Italy it will make it’s way to the US market for the first time very soon. Typically we sip on gin from our neighbors across the pond, but if you’re looking for something different to try – you may want to seek out a bottle of Malfy. This unique gin is infused with Italian botanicals including juniper and costal lemons, making it the perfect addition to a warm weather cocktail. If you can’t afford to summer on the Amalfi Coast why not purchase the next best, more affordable option, a bottle of $30.00 Malfy gin!
