Breweries have found the perfect thing to pair with their hoppy concoctions: yoga.
Craft breweries tend to attract more men than women. And yoga studios tend to bring in more women than men. So it was only a matter of time until some super smart marketing genius decided to combine them. And her name is Jhula.
Jhula is the co-founder of BierYoga in Germany. She explained to the Huffington Post that the idea started when she was trying to figure out how to work a beer into her own daily yoga practice. Since then, her idea became global. Breweries all over are now hosting yoga events where women can get a taste of some good brews and men can get a feel for the flow.
If you want to sip and become one with your spirit, Yoga Journal found 10 participating breweries in the U.S. Check ’em out below.
