Do you ever find yourself getting bored with your go-to booze? When you’ve grown tired of that mundane drink order, we’ll be here to walk you through what’s new and noteworthy this week:
Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Mango Astronaut Ale: The Voodoo Donut Series from Rogue Ales is back at it, and it’s weirder than ever. Following the Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana, Maple Bacon, and Chipotle Ales, comes their latest doughnut-inspired brew: Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Mango Astronaut Ale. The doughnut this out-of-this-world concoction was made after is called Mango Tango, jelly-infused with vanilla frosting and orange powder sprinkled on top. If you’re into extreme and sweet beers, this dessert ale is just for you. Its infamous baby pink packaging makes it easy to spot at the liquor store and a great addition to your Rogue Nation collection.
Lolea N. 3: The award-winning Sangria Lolea bottle by Bodega & Company is releasing yet another version of the traditional Spanish cocktail. Lolea N.3 is similar to white sparkling sangria with flavors of elderberry flowers, wild apples, and cinnamon. It was created as the ideal brut cocktail, perfect for the holiday season. It is their most refreshing Lolea yet, and the golden spotted packaging adds even more pop to the bottle. To enhance the flavors, serve it extra cold in a tall glass with a lime slice and some chopped mint leaves.
Ciroc Apple-Infused Vodka: Diddy is definitely getting in the spirit of the holiday season. Last week, Mr. Sean Combs launched the newest addition to the Ciroc Ultra Premium line: Ciroc Apple-Infused Vodka. The 6th flavor to be released from Ciroc recently, this blend produces a fresh and crisp finish that is perfect to sip on for the holidays. You can either mix it to create a fall-inspired cocktail or pour it on the rocks and enjoy it in its purest form.
SKYY Coastal Cranberry Vodka: What’s Thanksgiving without cranberry? Cranberry vodka that is. SKYY Vodka has included another fruity flavor to their collection of infusions. It is both sweet and tart and gives any cocktail a festive kick. Today, vodka cranberry is one of the most popular cocktails ordered at the bar, but the cranberry juice makes it quite the calorie booster. Instead of ordering vodka cranberry, serve yourself some cranberry vodka and you can have the same experience without the extra calories.
Call of Duty: Black Hops III: In honor of the highly-anticipated new Call of Duty video game, Black Hops Brewing Co. has created the world’s first Call of Duty craft beer: Black Hops III. Black Hops Brewing is run by three young Australian craft brewers; they received their inspiration through their love of beer and love of the game. In just 12 months, they went from brewing in their own garage to partnering with one of the most successful video game franchises in history. Though it has a very dark color, it is still a light and refreshing brew, similar to a summery pale ale.
Death by Coconut: Death by Coconut by Oscar Blues Brewery is making its national debut this season. This summer, it was exclusively served in Colorado and North Carolina bars, but they’re making this sweet porter available to everyone all around America, just in time for the holidays. It is made from dark chocolate and extra dark caramel malt, and it’s aged on dried coconut. It is big-flavored, but it is smooth and easy to drink. It’s available nationwide, but it won’t be forever, so remember to order yours on tap next time you’re at the bar!
