Do you ever find yourself getting bored with your go-to booze? When you’ve grown tired of that mundane drink order, we’ll be here to walk you through what’s new and noteworthy this week:
Kōloa Rum: Can’t get enough coffee? Well, now you can have it in your booze, too! Kōloa Rum Company, out of Kaua’i, Hawaii, released its new Kaua’i Coffee Rum after a licensing agreement with the Kuauai Coffee Company. Held in a new bottle and stamped with a fresh label, the Coffee Rum has a rich flavor with bold notes of coffee and cocoa. The Coffee Rum is just in time for the 2015 Holiday season–exactly when we crave caffeine and a sunny paradise the most.
Confluence Coffee: If you’re not down to mix coffee with rum, maybe you’re more willing to go for a coffee-brew. Confluence Coffee released “The Original” Nitro Cold Brew Coffee incorporating elements of coffee and craft beer. The cold brew is oaked, filled in a 12 oz. can with nitrogen, and ready to drink. Enjoy the unique flavor from the company’s shade-grown Honduran coffee beans, giving a full bodied nutty beginning, and a fruity finish.
Ben and Jerry’s Beer: Ben and Jerry’s for the win! The popular ice cream company known for its delicious combinations–chocolate covered potato chip and caramel swirl, for example– will wow all ice cream and brew lovers later this month with release of a Salted Caramel Brownie Ale. The brand partnered with brew company New Belgium to create a brew to go along side new ice cream release, Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream. Now you can drink your brew and eat it, too!
Maui Brewing: The beloved Hawaiian beer is making its way to the east coast next month with distribution expansion into Florida. The beach culture, palm trees, and surf align with the brew’s native land and therefore became the obvious starting spot for the beer along the Atlantic. Hoping to mirror its domino effect the brew has had on the west coast through California, and Nevada, Maui Brewing will look to expand up the east coast in 2016.
Absolut Electrik House: Inspired by Absolut’s latest limited edition bottles available in silver and electric blue, the vodka brand is pushing the boundaries of nightlife with the Absolut Electrik House. The house is made to harness energy from house guests to unlock a series of epic rooms and experiences. With a beverage made with last month’s release of the limited edition bottles, partygoers will experience an “Electrik” night as they move throughout a series of surprises in the kitchen, den, living room, garage and finally to a backyard party with performance from Empire of the Sun.
