Happy Halloween. While we’re too old to go trick-or-treating tonight, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a little candy of our own – in cocktail form, of course. We need something to do while we hand out treats to masked monsters, right?

Reese’s Peanut-tini

Reeses

We don’t know about you, but the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup has always been equivalent to gold for us, especially on Halloween. When our parents tried to steal our candy after a long night of trick-or-treating we had one rule: don’t touch our peanut butter cups. Here’s how to make a great cocktail version:

  • Add 1/4 cup salted peanut butter, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 oz. vodka and 1 oz. Creme de Cacao in a blender and blend.

  • Pour the mixture into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake it up.

  • Strain into a martini glass that you have rimmed in chocolate cookie crumbs and then garnish with peanut butter cups.

Pink Starburst Cocktail

Starburst

Everyone knows that chocolate is the best, but we’re always happy to unwrap some Starbursts to cleanse our palette. Want to try an awesome drink version? We thought so.

  • In a 12 oz. glass, mix up 1 oz. Pinnacle Whipped Vodka, 1 oz. half & half, and fruit punch.

  • Fill almost all the way with orange juice.

  • Top with a splash of a lemon lime soda and a pink Starburst.

M&M ShooterM&Ms

Sometimes you don’t want a full drink; that’s when a shooter is perfect. Same goes for chocolate – sometimes you don’t want a full bar of chocolate, but a couple of M&Ms really hit the spot. That’s why it’s only natural that this recipe involves a shooter AND M&Ms. You’re welcome.

  • Mix together 1/2 oz. Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) and 1/2 oz. Creme de Cacao.

  • Serve in a shot glass and top with whipped cream and garnish with M&Ms.

If you have kids, wait until they’ve slipped into their sugar comas to steal their candy for these cocktails. If not, buy all the candy you want and make these candy inspired cocktails with friends. Either way, celebrate Halloween with a drink in hand.
