Enjoyed some Goldschläger last night for the first time in a while. Forgot about those flakes and how cool they are. It got us thinking…why doesn’t more alcohol have flakes? Haven’t put too much thought into it (it’s been less than 14 hours) but maybe blueberry flakes in blueberry vodka or some coffee flakes in coffee liqueur. If possible, it could add some flavor. Or at least add some cool aesthetics.
Anyone with us?
Cheers,
DIA
I’m not sure adding flakes to a drink would entice me to buy/start drinking it. Although…blueberry vodka is a weakness of mine and blueberry flakes sound pretty good.
Hmmm…if they did something elegant with it (like you’re saying: coffee, blueberry), then maybe. There has to be a way to use it to garner complexity or flavor. It should have a purpose and not just be a cheesy marketing edge.
I am a NON Flake kind of girl…guess I am flaky enough…
Cheers

Lindsay & CocktailMia, sounds like Blueberry might be a good flaky flavor. Appreciate your input.
Dee, hilarious. Although, we don’t think you’re flaky in the least bit!
Cheers, all.
