Everybody loves a delicious baked good. Some of us love eating them, others prefer to make them but no matter what they almost always hit the spot. Baking wouldn’t be as fun without a little booze involved and this season we’re all about the hard cider.
We’ve found a few delicious recipes that we’ll munching on this winter. Always be sure to have extra bottles on hand when you’re baking. You’ll need a drink if you’re doing all this work.
Hard Cider Oatmeal Cookies with White Chocolate
These cookies from Bakeaholic Mama had us hello. One look at them and we were sold. They’re pretty easy to make and incorporate two of our favorite things: cookies and cider. Here are the ingredients you’ll need to get started on this recipe:
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle hard cider
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ unsalted butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 ½ cups flour
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- 3 cups rolled oats
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup diced apples
- ½ cup white chocolate chunks
Mini Hard Cider Cupcakes with Cider Cream Cheese Frosting
Only thing better than cupcakes? Mini cupcakes. Mostly because you can eat more and not feel bad about it. Here’s what you’ll need to make these tini tasty baked goods.
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 ¼ cups flour
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 cup hard apple cider
Hard Apple Cider and Cinnamon Bread
This is one of those recipes where you can pour a little, drink a little. This boozy bread is delicious, especially with a side of cider. You’ll need:
- 3 cups flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 4 ½ tsp. baking powder
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider
- 1 large honey crisp apple
- Brown sugar to sprinkle
